soul-mate is about searching and desire. about hope and destiny. it is about human being.

I am a fish.
Voiceless.
Moony.
Alone.
And fare from this world.
"conservation is everything"
In her work "conservation is everything" Karen Haase catches feelings and special moments to preserve, conserve and retain.
She fights for preservation, for survival.
Nothing matters but conservtion!!! Especially in times of big changes!
But holding on to it will lead to deadlock.
Deadlock becomes death.
What remains???

Doctor haase deals with questions of the here and now and the after life.
Based on her own experience and work from 2008, she builds up her own ideas of living and summarizes it in her doctorate. Part of it are mainly paintings, performances and lyrics.---
In doing so the element water plays a very important role.
It is the solution. The miracle cure. The salvation!
At the best you will reach re-generation and re-incarnation!

Doctor Haase writes essays about being, no-being and pseudo-being.
She is searching for answers ---
living on the offside
loving the lightness
suffering from futility
and losing herself in the endlessness of our being.

Live and let live.
Haase-Plankk is the union of two extraordinary artists at the German artificial horizon.
Surviving at the big city Berlin became their brand label.
Together they fight against the excess supply of art and service.
Immerge themselves in the desolateness of the Berlin nightlife.
And confront themselves to the futility of being artists.
They played and lost.
Continued playing.
And won.
In defiance of life.
"Kurac pitchko" 2005
.three woman.
.one band.
.two gigs.
On an early morning in january, after several drunken nights and a long farewell from our balkan drugares, the idea of having a band was born. Damn it, we also wanted to play in a rock `n roll band and become famous. Like everybody does.
Music wasen`t really our subject, but who cares.
Our volition was strong. Kurac Pitchko was born.
Three becomes one with lot`s of noise, poetry and imagination.
I will never forget the never ending flow of energy, ideas and improvisation.
Left over are memories and pictures. Videos got lost or never got done. But who cares.
We did it! Punkrock will never be dead!
"War rules the living room" 2003-2005
-the question of war, meaning and life -
War as a setting. A playground. As everyday life.
The whole topic is based on the examination of the Balkan war through my art project in Vukovar.
It is the question of meaning and existing in general.
Who directs war? Am I a soldier?
My own German history, freedom, absurdity and anarchy played a main role in my paintings and drawings, my action and reflection.
In my final video-installation Karensky Pott acts as the leader, the snoopy reporter, the soldier and the observer. Everything in Pink. Full of absurdity. In honour to life.
